For anyone who’s keeping score, 100 percent of the terrorist attacks that have occurred in the West for at least the past two decades have been committed by Islamic extremists.
Followers of Christ, Buddhists, Hindus, and Jews have not hijacked airplanes and flown them into buildings. They haven’t rented vans and mowed people over. They haven’t attacked restaurants with AK-47s or certain events with pipe bombs. Radicalized followers of the Islamic faith committed these acts.
And for good measure, radical Islamic groups like ISIS have taken over vast swaths of the Middle East, executing followers of other religions while mass murdering anyone else who refused to ascribe to their religious dogma.
So, it’s puzzling to Catholics and other followers of the Christian faith as to why Pope Francis has essentially, in their view, betrayed them by signing a pact that, Biblically speaking, amounts to the fulfillment of an ‘end times’ prophecy. According to the website Now the End Begins:
The pope and the grand imam of al-Azhar have signed a historic declaration of fraternity, calling for peace between nations, religions and races, in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths. Pope Francis, the leader of the world’s Catholics, and Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the head of Sunni Islam’s most prestigious seat of learning, arrived at the ceremony in Abu Dhabi hand-in-hand in a symbol of interfaith brotherhood.
What could be bad about this? After all, shouldn’t followers of different religious faiths get along? Not all followers would agree.
While Christians forgive and their Bible teaches them to love even ‘thy enemies,’ Islam’s Koran does not teach a similar tolerance of other faiths. In fact, according to Robert Spencer’s book, “The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran,” the Islamic holy book “incites hatred and violence and is anti-democratic, anti-freedom, and intolerant of any other ideology.”
The book “focuses on the decrees toward Jews and Christians, how they were viewed by Muhammad, what ‘the infidels’ have done wrong and what the Koran has in store for them,” adds a summary.
Now The End Begins notes that in 2015, Francis said something unusual for a Catholic leader in an address to the United Nations. In addressing the U.N.’s General Assembly, the pontiff said that he had come to them “in my own name” — odd since he is supposedly the Vicar of Christ and as such speaks to the world through the divine spirit, not that of a ‘mortal’ Man.
Now, the site continues, Francis has made a “peace covenant” with the leader of Sunni Islam. The document makes several references to the assemblage of the world’s various religions but no Bible verses are contained within it and there is no connection with the word “god” and Bible patriarchs like Moses, Abraham, and others.
Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb is today the most important man in Sunni Islam. As The Guardian reports, however, the signing of the document “was done in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and other faiths.”
Is this the beginning of a ‘one world religion’ some have asked? Clearly there was a concerted effort to ensure that all major faiths were represented at the ceremony in Abu Dhabi, but “over and over again,” Now The End Begins notes, “the word ‘God’ is used to simultaneously identify All and the God of Christianity.”
Also, the document “boldly declares that ‘the diversity of religions’ that we see in the world was ‘willed by God,’” the website continues.
The globalist elite has long sought the creation of a one-world religion because it would be a vehicle to unite the world’s people under a singular government.
Is the pope the Bible’s recognized “antiChrist” and did he just take us closer to the singular world religion prophesied in Revelations?
