Chilling footage from inside a ‘haunted’ hospital where a doctor apparently took their life has emerged showing a ghost-like figure appear from a room down a dimly-lit corridor.

In the horrifying clip, the mysterious shape moves from behind a door in the hallway which was lined with stretchers.

The video was captured at the School Hospital Universitario in Honduras, where a doctor is reported to have taken their own life.

It is claimed the medical practitioner now haunts the corridors and turns the lights on and off in rooms where patients are staying.

The dingy hallway in the hospital is otherwise empty, offering no explanation where the eerie figure has come from.

The video was posted on Honduran entertainment Facebook page La Otra Dimension and has been viewed a staggering 1.3million times.

The video was captured at the School Hospital Universitario in Honduras, where a doctor is reported to have taken their own life

But it is not the first time a spectral figure has emerged inside a hospital.

In May this year, Adam Smith had the fright of his life when he took a photograph of the abandoned Brecon and Radnor Lunatic Asylum in Brecon, Wales.

Mr Smith, who was walking past,spotted what appeared to be a ghoulish face peering from an upstairs window.

The creepy image apparently showed a shadowy figure looking from the first-floor window of the former psychiatric hospital – despite it being closed for more than 15 years.

The building was as also a prisoner of war camp during the Second World War, used to hold captured German soldiers.

He said: ‘I caught an epic shot of a ghost at the abandoned Brecon and Radnor Lunatic Asylum.

‘Maybe it was a patient who had a lobotomy or perhaps a soldier patient from the war or maybe a Nazi prisoner.
